Mike Grandinetti is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Engineering at Brown University. As a veteran Silicon Valley engineer and McKinsey consultant, Grandinetti has been in the practice of innovation and entrepreneurship as an operating executive and educator. He has served as CxO of eight startups, two went public on the NASDAQ while seven were acquired by corporate strategies including IBM and Oracle. Grandinetti serves as a faculty member at Harvard & Rutgers and has been affiliated with MIT in various capacities. He also holds numerous affiliations with Berkeley and was named Financial Times Professor of the Week. He has won numerous Professor of the Year and Global Teaching Excellence Awards.
Grandinetti has been continuously active in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, human-centric design and digital marketing since earning his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree. He went on to earn his MBA degree with distinction at Yale. He began his career in Silicon Valley and has spent his entire career in the world’s leading innovation clusters of Silicon Valley / San Francisco, Boston / Cambridge, Austin, TX and Tel Aviv, Israel.
