Organizations today are surrounded by data, but actionable insight is scarce. Leaders don’t just need dashboards or models, they need professionals who can lead the effort by processing raw, messy data, applying the right tools, and, most importantly, translating analysis into decisions that matter.

Brown has created something different. A 16-month, online master’s in business analytics preparing working professionals to transform data into meaningful insights. With a flexible schedule, global accessibility and the opportunity to visit Brown University for an optional 2.5-day residential experience, you can advance your career without interrupting your life.

Turn chaos into clarity.

At Brown, analytics begins where it actually happens: with incomplete, imperfect and often overwhelming information. Through rigorous courses, you’ll master the complete analytics pipeline, learning how to assess data, prepare it for analysis, choose the right analytical approach and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.

The goal is not to master every model. It is to develop fluency across statistical reasoning, predictive analytics, machine learning, multimodal analysis and generative AI and, more importantly, the judgment to know when and how to apply them

The result isn’t just analysis. It’s clarity — the ability to confidently answer what the data is telling you and what to do next.

This program offers the following graduate degree:
