Congratulations to Katie Jenkins, a member of Brown University Executive Master in Cybersecurity (EMCS) Class of 2018, on her promotion to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Liberty Mutual Insurance. In this role, Jenkins is responsible for Liberty’s global cybersecurity program, ensuring the protection of company data, defense of the brand and minimizing business impact of cyber attacks. She is leading the company’s enterprise cybersecurity policy, strategy, and programs including cyber risk management, security-enabled cloud technology, and employee awareness initiatives.
Jenkins was one of four executive appointments recently announced to Liberty Mutual’s Chief Information Officer James McGlennon’s technology leadership team. The appointments are part of Mr. McGlennon’s strategy to create a fast, flexible and agile organization that leads change in the industry by incubating new ideas and deploying new technologies.
