Biography

Brendan McNally is Program Director of the IE Brown Executive MBA program. Based in Providence, he manages all aspects of Brown’s contributions to the program and also travels to Madrid and Cape Town, working closely with students, faculty and the IE team. Brendan is a long-time Brown community member with a record of teaching and advising students, and managing Brown programs in business and entrepreneurship. Brendan has been with Brown for over almost 20 years having served in the Office of the President, as director of the RI Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and director of the undergraduate Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations (BEO) program. In each of these positions, he has played a critical role in strategic planning, operations, finances, faculty relations and student advising. Additionally, he has served as a lecturer for various classes in the BEO program. Prior to Brown, Brendan was a business consultant supporting a variety of large and small clients including MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, US Sealift Command and FleetBoston. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and an MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
