Sandi Ferretti is the Program Director, ScM in Healthcare Leadership and Director of Critical Challenge Projects in the School of Professional Studies (SPS). She is responsible for the development and management of the Critical Challenge Project component of the executive programs in the SPS portfolio. She is also Teaching Associate for several courses in the Master's in Healthcare Leadership program, including Health Care Policy, and Quality Improvement and the Learning Organization.
Ferretti has 15 years of experience in healthcare management and quality improvement and worked in a variety of health care settings, including integrated delivery systems, health insurance, state government and implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and as a consultant, and advisor to and instructor in academic programs. Most recently Sandi worked for HealthSourceRI, Rhode Island’s state-based health insurance exchange formed under the ACA. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics and a Certificate in Science in Human Culture from Northwestern University, and a Masters in Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan.
