Biography

Why did you choose the Executive Master in Cybersecurity?
I was looking for a program that balanced public policy with private industry interests. The Brown program had a number of courses that made me sure that it was the program for me.

What makes Brown's program different from other programs you considered?
Most programs I considered were either too technical or too high level. The Brown program has a well rounded approach to gaining technical knowledge while keeping the "executive" feel.

What do you enjoy most about your program?
I am enjoying the immense care that has been put into providing industry leading academics and business focused professors.

What is your primary academic area of interest?
Cybersecurity. I currently am working in Information Security and wanted to advance my knowledge.

What are your postgraduate goals?
To continue to deliver value to Prudential, PLC and provide new perspectives in the cybersecurity industry.

What do you like most about Providence?
Providence is a city that you can instantly fall in love with. It has small town New England charm in every season with great events offered by the universities and the city.

What advice would you give to prospective applicants?
The program provides a diverse cohort to learn from and a great opportunity to delve deeper into subjects that you only occasionally encounter in your daily routines. Explore how the classes could round out your expertise and increase your breadth in the cybersecurity industry.
