Why did you choose this Master's program?
I chose this masters program for a few main reasons, first the need to differentiate myself and stay competitive in the job market while learning and developing executive presence and the Brown Alumni network and a chance to make an impact joining the ranks of great leaders.
What made Brown's program different from other programs you considered?
This master's program couples the executive presence and development with actual real business problems and how to navigate with different lenses. The collaboration with Engineering and Technology was also a plus in my consideration. The CCP allows practical approach to problem solving and customization to needed solutions.
What did you enjoy most about your program?
I really enjoy the in-sessions and the collaborations with C6 classmates, really enriches the learning experience with this diverse group of leaders. The connections made here at Brown MTL program will last a lifetime and I am proud to be a part of the family.
What was your primary academic area of interest?
My primary academic area of interest is in technology/engineering and also connects to professional development. These are areas I'd continue to focus on.
What were your postgraduate goals?
Post-Grad goals is to continue my elevation to Officer level opportunity primarily CIO and CTO roles.
What did you like most about Providence?
Providence is a unique area with a connected culture. I love the feel of the city in the warmer months and see all of the outdoor activities taking place. I also love the food options and how everything is close by, it feels very welcoming and connected
What advice would you give to prospective applicants?
The best advice I would give to incoming and prospective applicants would be to set plenty of time aside to really dive into the content and immerse yourself in the program. Plan out goals and connect your CCP early to your work as it makes it more meaningful.
