Biography

Mike is CEO of Macline Investments, which has capabilities across public securities (equity & debt), private equity, venture and real estate. Previously, he was a Senior Advisor at Flexpoint Ford, a private equity fund that focuses on financial services and healthcare. Mike is also a Board Director of several companies including MarketGrader Capital which evaluates 37,000 companies in 94 countries and publishes over 50 indexes, as well as CapIntel which powers over 17,000 financial advisors with an efficient way to connect financial products to an investor's overall life goals. Prior to this, he was CEO and Chairman of Source, the largest independent exchange-traded-fund (ETF) manager in Europe (sold to Invesco in 2017). From 2013-2017, Mike was an Executive-in-Residence (EIR) at Warburg Pincus on its Financial Services team and led the investment in Source. Mike co-founded the European ETF business, iShares, which is now the largest ETF manager in Europe (sold to BlackRock in 2009). He has also held senior level positions at BlackRock and Barclays Global Investors, and worked in private equity and investment banking with Goldman Sachs and Salomon Smith Barney. 

Mike has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a MSc from Brown University and a BSc from Georgetown University.
