Mark Correia, CPA, MBA is an Adjunct Lecturer in Economics with six years of experience teaching accounting both in traditional classroom settings and asynchronous formats. He earned both his undergraduate degree and MBA from Providence College.
Mark brings over a decade of professional experience to his teaching, including more than five years in public accounting and five years in private practice. Throughout his career, he has served a broad array of industries and clients, including those in venture capital, healthcare, education, and manufacturing.
Currently, Mark is the Accounting Manager for a manufacturing-focused venture capitalist firm, where he oversees financial operations and strategic planning. His dual roles in academia and industry allow him to bridge theory and practice, offering students a grounded and relevant approach to accounting and economic principles.
