Why did you choose this Master's program?
I chose the Brown University Master's in Technology Leadership program because of the intersection of business, technology, and society. With a background in computer science, I wanted to broaden my understanding across various disciplines to develop my systems-thinking and enterprise-level knowledge. Additionally, I chose this program to honor the legacy of my grandmother, who graduated high school at sixteen but was not permitted to attend college; I want to carry on her spirit and showcase the meaningful gifts she possessed.
What made Brown's program different from other programs you considered?
What makes Brown unique is its genuine approach to learning and community building. The campus environment is incredibly welcoming, and it is clear that the professors, faculty, and staff are truly invested in student success.
What did you enjoy most about your program?
The people. The Brown community feels like homeāit is a place where individuality is embraced and where lifelong friendships begin.
What was your primary academic area of interest?
Computer science and physics.
What are your postgraduate goals?
I aim to nurture the next generation of software architects through mentorship and mutual discovery. I am also interested in continuing my academic career through a potential postgraduate degree and remain dedicated to developing technologies that improve human life.
What did you like most about Providence?
I enjoy the quaint, picturesque nature of Providence, where rivers and flowers meet cobblestone roads. It is a wonderful place that I always look forward to visiting.
What advice would you give to prospective applicants?
I advise prospective students to foster their inner curiosity and engage with ideas that inspire them. Brown is a place where the art of ideation and creation can be explored meaningfully with effective resources and a strong community.
