Biography

Laura M Downing is an Adjunct Lecturer in Leadership in the School of Professional Studies.  She teaches Leadership in the Masters of Organizational Leadership (MOL) program.

She has consulted and coached senior leaders in the private, public and non-profit sectors in the area of strategy management and leadership development for over 25 years.

Laura was a significant contributor to the Strategy Execution methodology published by Drs. Kaplan and Norton.  She was an Executive VP and founding member at Balanced Scorecard Collaborative, Palladium Group and CLIR Coaching.

She is also an instructor at Harvard Division of Continuing Education including Strategy Management, Organizational Behavior, Leadership and  Influence and Power.  She is also the co-author of Twelve Skills: the guide to becoming a strong leader and accelerating your career (Rethink, 2023)

Laura is a graduate of Georgetown University and Harvard School of Business Administration.
