Driven by a passion for digital trust and innovation, Jill Rasmussen, CISSP helps leaders and organizations bridge complex cyber risks with human-centered strategies that foster resilience and growth. She is a cyber insurance and product innovation executive with more than twenty years of experience advancing insurance strategy, digital transformation, and cybersecurity risk management. At Amica Mutual Insurance Company, she led corporate strategy, IT risk, and innovation initiatives, including $58M digital transformation portfolio that delivered multimillion-dollar impact, introduced telematics and IoT-based insurance products, and shaped enterprise policies on AI, privacy, and security.
In higher education, Jill servesis inspired in her role as an Adjunct Lecturer in Brown University’s Master of Technology Leadership program, where she advises students on their Critical Challenge Projects. She also contributes to identity and access management strategy at the University of Rhode Island and teaches internationally within EDUCAUSE’s Cybersecurity & Privacy Managers’ Institute. She has been a contributing expert to the EDUCAUSE Horizon Report on Cybersecurity & Privacy and is the recipient of the 2025 Thought Leadership Award in Cybersecurity & Privacy.
In addition to studies at Oxford University and Stanford University, Jill holds a Master’s in Cybersecurity from Salve Regina University, and is pursuing her PhD in Digital Trust. Beyond academia, she serves on the IEEE Global Initiative on AI & Ethics, mentors emerging leaders, and sits on multiple nonprofit and professional boards. She also co-founded the Fantastic Girltastic Coding Company to introduce girls to STEM. Jill is currently writing a book on the future of digital trust and technology leadership and speaks on topics including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and innovation.
