Biography

Elana Rosenbaum, MS, MSW, LICSW, has been integrating mindfulness with psychotherapy and healthcare since 1984. She is one of the original teachers  of Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction at the Center for Mindfulness, working directly with Jon Kabat-Zinn, the founder of MBSR   at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and has a private practice in psychotherapy in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is a sought after mindfulness coach, teacher, speaker, workshop leader and consultant and has assisted in the development of mindfulness programs for social agencies, clinical practices and medical institutions including Dana Farber Cancer Institute and the primary care mindfulness program at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School. Elana has been featured in “Chronicle” on CBS and mentioned in many magazine articles including Yoga Journal, Health, Coping, Shambhala Sun and the PBS audio series, “Walking through the Storm”.
