Biography

Christina Divigard is a seasoned business executive, educator, and CEO of Valvespring, a management consulting firm specializing in strategic branding, communications, and business development for biotech, life science, and education clients. With more than 30 years of experience in corporate and entrepreneurial leadership, she brings a wealth of expertise to graduate management education.

Christina’s career includes leadership roles at Ogilvy & Mather and ING, where she directed marketing and communication strategies for global initiatives such as ING's Formula One sponsorship and MGM/Mirage Resorts’ expansion. Her leadership has been recognized for driving growth, innovation, and impactful change.

As an educator, Christina develops and teaches courses in management, marketing, business communication, and career development. She is dedicated to curriculum innovation, using interactive, real-world learning methods that bridge theory and practice. Her research focuses on student success strategies, and she created a graduate student onboarding program to improve student readiness and achievement.

Christina holds an MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University, with dual majors in Marketing and Management.

Outside the classroom, Christina mentors high school and college entrepreneurs, advocates for responsible capitalism, and works to create inclusive learning environments that foster student growth and success.
