Tony Clapsis is a healthcare executive and advisor with 20+ years of experience across finance, strategy, policy, and operations. He began his career as a healthcare equity analyst at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, then served on the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, where he helped draft the Affordable Care Act and led enactment of $400B in reimbursement reforms. He later held executive roles at Caesars Entertainment and CVS Health, where he helped guide the $69B Aetna acquisition and launched a nationwide clinical trial business enrolling over 43,000 participants. Today, through his firm The Clapsis Group, he advises private equity firms, startups, and leading integrated delivery networks and academic medical centers on growth strategy. He serves on the board of Hawthorne Effect, as an advisor to Quilt Health, and is a Health Innovators Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He holds BA and MA degrees in History from Boston University.
