Amber Carpenter earned a degree in Technology Leadership from Brown University (MSc, 2021) and previously studied sociology and pre-law at Purdue University and the University of Florida. Amber has founded and sold multiple hospitality tech startups, including the first online booking engine for short-term rentals (2004) and, most recently, DemandIQ, the hospitality industry's first demand analytics platform (2020). Amber is published on topics ranging from digital marketing, e-commerce, and analytics to hospitality operations efficiencies in leading global hospitality publications and has spoken on the international short-term rental conference circuit since 2009.
