Why did you choose this Master's program?
I chose this program because I reached a point in my leadership career at Cisco where I recognized a ceiling in my professional growth. I realized that to progress further, I needed educational frameworks and perspectives that extended beyond my internal professional realm. I sought a program that could provide the strategic support necessary to bridge that gap.

Brown's program is uniquely distinguished by its specific focus on the intersection of technology and leadership. While many other MBA programs offer a generalized curriculum, Brown's approach is tailored to the specific challenges faced by technology leaders, ensuring that the coursework is highly relevant and immediately applicable to my industry.
What did you enjoy most about your program?
I have most enjoyed the challenging and highly relevant curriculum, the strong network and relationships I built with my peers, and the capstone project (known as the CCP). The ability to apply my CCP project/research directly to my professional role at Cisco allowed me to see the immediate, real-world impact of my studies, and ultimately helped me secure my most recent promotion.
What was your primary academic area of interest?
My primary academic interest is the strategic application of Data and AI. I am particularly focused on how these technologies can be leveraged to drive better decision-making and enhance overall effectiveness as a technology leader.
What are your postgraduate goals?
My goals are to continue advancing my career within Cisco, taking on increased levels of responsibility where I can drive meaningful, large-scale impact for the company.
What did you like most about Providence?
I love Providence for its vibrant arts and culture scene and its exceptional culinary offerings. It is a city with a unique character that made the residency experience truly enjoyable.
What advice would you give to prospective applicants?
My advice is to reflect critically on your "why." If you are seeking a program that will challenge you to grow, push you out of your comfort zone, and provide a platform to execute a project that creates tangible, real-world impact, then this is the right program for you.
