Biography

Sandra leads the School of Professional Studies and the Division of Master’s and Professional Programs at Brown University. She is responsible for supporting close to 40 residential, professional and online master's degrees serving more than 1200 students and 1500 non credit learners at Brown. As Dean, Sandra oversees academic programs, operations, finances and staff, while leading efforts to advance the school’s mission to create and deliver programs that serve professional audiences. As the leader for the Division of Master’s and professional programs, she supports all the other schools and academic departments at Brown in expanding master's programs by providing enrollment management, student services and career support for all master’s students. 

At Brown, Sandra spearheaded multiple new programming lines, co-developing and serving as the inaugural Director for the Executive Master in Science and Technology Leadership while launching custom corporate and non-credit professional programs

Before joining Brown, Sandra consulted with Catalyst Strategies, Recon Strategy and The Boston Consulting Group primarily focusing on developing growth strategies for Fortune 500 technology and services companies. She also served as Director of Advised Services at Charles Schwab where she launched and managed solutions for their largest customer segment while overseeing technology platform development, marketing, sales, operations, and other functional areas. 

Sandra earned a Bachelor with honors and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Sandra has been a commissioner in the I-195 Redevelopment District Commission for the State of Rhode Island since 2016 overseeing the development of 13 real estate development projects totaling 2.1 million square feet in downtown Providence.
