Programs range in length from 15-18 months and blend intensive, online learning with face-to-face sessions.

Executive Education at Brown is tailored for experienced professionals with career demands, family commitments, and other responsibilities that cannot be put on hold. Brown’s executive format makes distance learning dynamic, and the face-to-face sessions convenient. Throughout each program, students convene for five in-person sessions, with online classroom work woven between these residencies. Several programs also include a 1-week experiential session in a US or international location. Experiential session locations differ by program.
The IE Brown Executive MBA (EMBA) is a 15-month joint-degree program with top-ranked IE Business School in Spain. Developed for leaders who are looking to blend the strengths of a rigorous management education with perspectives from the humanities, the program’s innovative curriculum integrates the arts, cognitive science, history, and social sciences with finance, leadership, marketing, and strategy.
The Executive Master in Cybersecurity (EMCS) is an 18-month program designed to hone the skills of mid-career professionals with increasing responsibility for the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data, networks, and information systems.
The Executive Master of Healthcare Leadership (EMHL) is a 16-month program designed for professionals who need to gain the skills to lead in a rapidly changing and disruptive healthcare environment. Students come from sectors across the health industry and engage with a curriculum that is immediately applicable to daily work. The program breaks down industry silos, broadens student perspectives, and creates opportunities for leadership innovation.
The Executive Master in Science and Technology Leadership (EMSTL) is a 16-month program designed for professionals from scientific and technical domains who are poised to rapidly advance to leadership positions. Going beyond the fundamentals of an MBA, the EMSTL program delivers leadership insights from economics, history, psychology, sociology, computer science, and engineering from Brown’s world-class faculty. By learning to apply new disciplinary frameworks in a data-driven world, students gain the confidence to propel your organization and industry forward.
All programs offer rolling admission. We continue to review and accept applications throughout the consideration cycle until the programs are full. We encourage those applying to submit their application and scholarship materials as early as possible to ensure the opportunity to be considered for the current intake and available scholarship funds.
Students must be accepted into the program before a scholarship award can be considered.
