The Executive Master in Science and Technology Leadership is an intensive masters program for mid-career technology professionals who want a larger leadership role. Participants demonstrate a strong track record of achievement, have diverse backgrounds (e.g., technical/non-technical undergraduate degree, senior managers to the C-suite) and come from many industries.
Successful applicants demonstrate a record of achievement and may have an advanced degree in a technical domain. Courses are offered in person and online to accommodate working professionals.
Student selectivity and the professional diversity of the cohort are key benefits of the program. Candidates are selected based on what they will contribute to the peer learning community and their readiness to benefit from the program. With unique education and experience, every student is an important contributor to the cohort, a resource for peers, and a valuable member of the lifelong professional networks that form.
For early-career science and engineering graduates, Brown offers the Program in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (PRIME). PRIME students learn to use emerging science and technology as a basis for the creation of commercial value and new ventures. The program offers students a grounding in how to start and grow a technology-based business in a dynamic, competitive marketplace.
