Applicants who submit their completed program application for an early decision date will receive an admission decision within 6 weeks. Students must be accepted into the program before a scholarship award can be considered. Scholarship funding is weighted towards early decision admissions. Scholarship funds may be exhausted by the regular decision date.

Students must be accepted into the program before a scholarship award can be discussed.
We encourage those considering applying for scholarship funds to do so early. After the July 27th Priority Application and Scholarship Review date, scholarships will be awarded to accepted students only if funds are available.

Tuition for the Class of 2021, beginning study February 2020: $83,300 US
The comprehensive tuition covers the 16-month academic program, related fees, program events and a number of meals during residential sessions. It does not include travel or room and board for the residential sessions at Brown University or the experiential learning session, or for books and materials that may be required for courses. Brown University requires all students to have health insurance from a US provider while on campus. Students who require this coverage may purchase it from the university.

*The comprehensive tuition, less the included $1,500 program deposit, is split evenly and billed/payable across the four enrollment periods. All costs are shown in US dollars.
**The Academic Records Fee is billed during the first enrollment period. This fee is assessed by the Registrar’s Office and covers costs for all transcript requests.
This scholarship is open to all EMSTL candidates who have demonstrated excellence in their personal and professional lives.

Every year we aim to create a diverse cohort which incorporates an array of nationalities, races, cultures, and professional/academic backgrounds. To this end, we have launched the Diversity Scholarship intended to help create a unique student body that enriches the learning experience for all.
EMSTL Women’s Scholarship
This award aims to recognize exceptional women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and/or potential in their professional or personal endeavors.
EMSTL Exemplary Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship recognizes individuals with strong leadership capabilities who exhibit exemplary leadership in their profession, community and/or organization.
You may apply for up to three (3) scholarships. The Financial Aid Committee will review your application in the event that you are admitted to the program.

Paying for your education
The majority of students enrolled in this program are self-supported and/or supported in part by their employers. The University offers an Installment Payment Plan, which allows billed costs to be spread out over time. Students entering the program may be eligible for federal loans or veteran’s programs and can receive information and assistance from the Financial Aid Office at Brown University.
Scholarship support may be awarded to select candidates who have a record of outstanding achievements and demonstrate the potential to contribute significantly to peer-to-peer learning that is valued so highly in the program. Candidates from the government and public sector are encouraged to apply.
The scholarship committee will consider scholarship applications from candidates who are admitted to the program, complete a scholarship form, and provide documentation regarding their financial circumstances.
