Visiting Professor of International Entrepreneurship

Professor Hana Milanov, Ph.D. is the Senior Vice President For International Alliances And Alumni Technische Universität München (TUM) in Munich and a visiting professor at IE Business School in Madrid. She conducts research at the nexus of literature in entrepreneurship, international business and social networks. Her interests lie in understanding the evolution of alliances and networks and their role in firm internationalization, opportunity exploitation, and final performance. The research contexts include predominantly U.S. venture capital, biotechnology, and high technology industries. Professor Milanov’s work is published in Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Business Venturing, Academy of Management Perspectives, Industrial and Corporate Change, and Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research, and presented in some of the most prestigious conferences in the fields of entrepreneurship and strategy. Professor Milanov completed her doctoral studies at Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Prior to joining TUM’s Faculty, she was an entrepreneurship professor at IE Business School.
