Congratulations to Bradley Vernatter EMBA ’18 on his new position as the General Manager at Miller Theatre at Columbia University. With this significant career advancement, Vernatter joins one of the country’s premier performance centers recognized by the New York Times for its “transformative impact on musical culture in New York City.”
In this new position at the company, Vernatter will have a key role in the company’s bold new chamber opera commissioning initiative — commissioning and producing a new opera every year. He will have oversight over artistic operations for the theatre’s other performance series (chamber works, piano, jazz, etc), and finances for revenue and expenses.

Prior to this position, Vernatter was Director of Operations at the Opera Omaha where he designed and produced the opera company’s two flagship initiatives the Holland Community Opera Fellowship and the ONE Festival, which included Proving Up, an opera co-commissioned by Washington National Opera, Opera Omaha, and the Miller Theatre.
