Brown University Spotlights deGraft-Johnson Family in “Scene at Brown”

Congratulations to the deGraft-Johnson family, who was recently featured in the Brown e-newsletter section, “Scene at Brown.” The poster family for life-long learning, the deGraft-Johnsons are spending their summer studying in  Brown programs: Drs. Latifa and Moses deGraft-Johnson in a Brown executive MBA program, and two of their sons in Brown pre-college programs. They plan to enroll their youngest son when he’s old enough.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the deGraft-Johnson family for sharing our view of education as a never-ending journey to build a more just, prosperous and sustainable world. We look forward to continuing to share all of the family’s successes.

  • Drs. Latifa and Moses deGraft-Johnson are both members of the IE Brown Class of 2019.
  • The deGraft-Johnson’s middle-school aged son is enrolled in the STEM program for Middle Schoolers, From Brain to Sensation: The Neurobiology of Your Five Senses.
  • Their high school aged son is taking two Summer@Brown courses, The Great Diseases: Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Infections and The Mind, Brain, and Behavior.
