EMHL Class of 2017 Student, Jackie Ejuwa, Named as Senior Director, Mandates Compliance in the MCG

Jackie Ejuwa, EMHL Class of 2017, was recently named Senior Director, Mandates Compliance in the Mandates Control Group (MCG) at Blue Shield of California. Jackie will lead day-to-day operations of MCG, a new team responsible for ensuring implementation and compliance with mandates from the federal and state governments including Medicare, and from Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Covered California.

Jackie is a registered pharmacist with more than 25 years of experience. During her 11 years at Blue Shield of California, she developed expertise in pharmacy benefit design, implementation and claim adjudication, prior authorization operations, and pharmacy benefit strategic projects. She is a co-founder of Blue Shield’s Black Employee Network and chairs their Mentoring and Development Program. Jackie’s expertise is valued by her colleagues in the EMHL Class of 2017
